Specialist Support Services

The aim of the Specialist Support Services project is to coordinate and deliver services that will meet the needs of both frontline groups and the infrastructure bodies that support them in Tyne and Wear. The services and activities to be delivered by partners fall under the following headings:

•  A first class career in the VCS

•  Human resources support

•  Enterprising charities

•  Developing excellence in the VCS

•  Funding support services

For further details of all programmes please see the leaflet below.

PNE can offer VCS managers in Tyne and Wear the opportunity to gain a level 3, 4 or 5 management qualification with the Chartered Management Institute or the Institute of Leadership and Management.  Our 'Management' and 'Management of Volunteers' qualifications are delivered in a flexible and supportive way to ensure that you achieve the qualification in a way which best supports your development and fits with your busy work schedule.  Assessment for the NVQ can be undertaken online or face to face and your portfolio can be prepared using paperless, traditional or online methods.

For further information and an application form contact Anne-Maria Brown at PNE on 0191 261 6009 or email development@pne.org
