Meet The Team Dawn Cranswick - Development Director In the PNE Development team I have overall responsibility for setting direction and oversight of our activities. I also undertake consultancy assignments with other organisations, often collaborating with external partners. My consultancy experience includes economic development, development of business case and strengthening management structures, as well as monitoring and evaluation of grant-funded programmes. I’m particularly interested in the way organisations establish their business models, governance and operating structures, and I’m always interested to learn more from clients, partners and colleagues. Tracey Moore - Development Manager As Development Manager, I am responsible for the management of the PNE Development team and ensuring that all projects and services are delivered effectively and in line with both funder requirements and the needs of the sector. My role also requires me to identify new business opportunities and implement new projects and services which support the achievement of PNE’s strategy and enable the development of both individuals and organisations in the Third Sector. Alongside my management role, I am also a qualified assessor, executive coach and consultant and especially enjoy working with organisations, supporting them to plan and achieve their strategies and develop themselves or their staff/volunteers effectively. Ann Maughan - Development Consultant As a Development Consultant, I work with a mix of organisations and people across the UK carrying out a variety of activities such as training, tutoring, coaching and facilitating, delivering qualifications, assessing, and building capacity within organisations. My ethos is to support people and organisations to reach their full potential. Malcolm Freemantle - Development Consultant My main interest is in personal development, working across the UK to plan, design and deliver coaching, mentoring, training, facilitation and workshops, qualifications delivery, assessment and capacity building, all tailored to meet the needs of a broad mix of people and organisations. My aim is to help people achieve theirs. Tracy Gee - North West Development Coordinator My role is to establish PNE’s position as a key provider of third sector management development in the North West. I aim to concentrate on developing networks and relationships with key influencers and decision makers and highlight business opportunities for the team. I manage the Capacitybuilders Management of Volunteers Bursary programme offering level 4 and 5 qualifications to Volunteer Managers across the North of England. Additionally I provide assessment and internal verification on PNE Development’s management qualification programmes. Brian Butcher - Marketing & PR My role is to provide marketing, communications and media relations support to the team. Producing display banners, writing promotional brochures and lining up media interviews are just some of the ways in which we reach clients and other stakeholders. David Tuck - Process Supervisor As Process Supervisor I co-ordinate and supervise our project processes so that we deliver our range of services in an efficient manner and to the highest standard possible. Managing the administration team, my aim is to ensure that everybody receives the same consistent high level of service that PNE Development is synonymous with. Sarah Atkinson - Development Assistant In my role as Development Assistant I work on a range of different projects to support the Development Managers and Consultants involving activities from research to marketing and promotion. Erin Kinnee - Project Leader, GLOBE As the GLOBE Project Leader, it is my responsibility to develop and enhance the GLOBE e-learning system to ensure it remains an innovative, engaging and versatile e-learning experience. My aim is to create a multimedia-based learning environment that is continually evolving, growing and at the very forefront of e-learning technology. Martin Peters - Project Assistant, GLOBE As project assistant I support the project leader for GLOBE, an interactive online learning experience for leaders in the Voluntary and Community Sector. This entails all aspects of online project delivery including content management, administration, system development, interactive design and publication. Shaun Nichols - Project Leader, voluntaryskills.com This challenging and rewarding role requires me to lead the delivery and development of the voluntaryskills.com project, on behalf of PNE Development. The online service is the place to find skills and training opportunities; a role it has been fulfilling since 2002. In order that the service continues to be a well-utilised tool by those working and volunteering in the Third Sector, I work in partnership with training providers and stakeholders from across the North of England. Simon Marczycha - Project Assistant, voluntaryskills.com It is my responsibility to support the Project Leader in carrying out regular maintenance and updates of the website, as well as assisting with the promotion of the service using a multitude of marketing methods including social media.
